Leveraging his extensive experience in agribusiness management and a deep passion for community development, Robert Moyo founded Nthowa Livelihoods to drive sustainable change and economic empowerment in Mzimba, Malawi. As Executive Director, he channels over six years of expertise in agricultural economics, market linkage, and project management into creating enduring opportunities for marginalized communities, with a dedicated focus on uplifting youth and women. Under his leadership, Nthowa Livelihoods is committed to transforming lives by building capacity, fostering sustainable livelihoods, and promoting gender equality, ensuring that the entire community can achieve lasting prosperity and resilience. Holds Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Eastern Africa Baraton, Kenya, majoring in Agribusiness.

Canaan Plaston Mngoniwawo Chunga is a highly experienced and versatile program specialist with over nine years of expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation, research, and proposal development within the agriculture, natural resources management, nutrition, livelihood, and climate change resilience sectors. He possesses comprehensive skills in partnership coordination, resource and community mobilization, knowledge management, and reporting. His professional background includes significant roles such as Project Coordinator and Field Officer with Find Your Feet, where he upscaled Climate Smart Agriculture initiatives, and as a Land Resource Conservation Officer with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development. Further demonstrating his strong work ethic and adaptability, he has held supervisory and official positions with the Malawi Electoral Commission and the National Statistics Office. Academically accomplished, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), a Diploma in Agriculture from Natural Resources College (NRC), and a Certificate in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation from the Centre for Research and Development (CRD).

Levison Kambombo Phiri is a holder of BSc degree in Statistics and Mathematics from University of Malawi – Chancellor College. With more than 7 years of experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation. Worked with World Food Programme (WFP), Malawi Network for Older Person Organization and Blantyre Synod Health and Development as M&E/Data analyst. His expertise covers designing, developing and implementing M&E systems, advanced data analytics and donor reporting.

He is a competent and an ambitious Business Administrator who has the required qualifications along with comparable Research, Economics and financial skills, administration skills, as well as the ability to interpret financial statement, applying of technical regulations and policies as related to my career procedures in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS), the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP) as well as Malawi Taxation laws, besides that I have good computer and report writing skills, good interpersonal and communication skills and able to work under pressure and minimum supervision. Furthermore, I am a team player, logical thinker and able to learn, adapt and promote new ethical standards while maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism. He has worked with National Audit Office as an Assurance Associate from 2021-2022. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in Accounting from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. (Malawi Adventist University Campus) from 2014-2017. He is currently pursuing MBA- Finance with Unicaf University. He has over 3 years’ experience in Finance and Administration. He has also worked with World Vision International (Malawi National Office) as the Finance and Administration Assistant from October 2017 to July 2020.

Mphatso Winnie Gondwe is a results-oriented agricultural extension professional with a B.Sc. in Agriculture Extension from LUANAR, now serving as the Agriculture and Livelihood Programs Manager at Nthowa Livelihoods. With extensive experience in agricultural development, social work, and research, she excels at managing complex projects, supporting baseline surveys, and conducting project evaluations while working for organizations like Self-Help Africa and the Ministry of Agriculture. Her expertise lies in translating technical knowledge into practical, sustainable strategies that empower farming communities, ensuring program success and driving long-term improvements in livelihoods.
