Canaan Plaston Mngoniwawo Chunga is a highly experienced and versatile program specialist with over
nine years of expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation, research, and proposal
development within the agriculture, natural resources management, nutrition, livelihood, and climate
change resilience sectors. He possesses comprehensive skills in partnership coordination, resource and
community mobilization, knowledge management, and reporting. His professional background includes
significant roles such as Project Coordinator and Field Officer with Find Your Feet, where he upscaled
Climate Smart Agriculture initiatives, and as a Land Resource Conservation Officer with the Ministry
of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development. Further demonstrating his strong work ethic and
adaptability, he has held supervisory and official positions with the Malawi Electoral Commission and
the National Statistics Office. Academically accomplished, he holds a Bachelor of Science in
Agriculture from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), a Diploma in
Agriculture from Natural Resources College (NRC), and a Certificate in Project Management, Monitoring
and Evaluation from the Centre for Research and Development (CRD).
